SARASOTA, FL – Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe is proud to announce it has, for the fourth consecutive 12 months, awarded WBTT Artist Growth scholarships to deserving college students. Final 12 months, eight up-and-coming artists had been introduced with $2,000 scholarships for research in a university or conservatory program within the performing arts or arts administration for the 2021-2022 tutorial 12 months. This 12 months, WBTT has once more offered eight younger, aspiring artists with scholarships of $2,000 every.

To be eligible for a scholarship, a participant will need to have carried out on the WBTT stage in at the least two productions, labored on the theatre as an intern, and/or been a participant within the Stage of Discovery summer time musical theatre intensive program.
